Taking out the ALC membership is the best thing I have done. I have used quite a lot of the vouchers already. Go to Copthorne Durham Street quite often and it's a great hotel and the staff are very friendly. I tell all my friends about ALC and have already received one bottle of wine when one of my mates took out a membership.

I have been a member of the Millennium chain hotel card now for several yrs & continued this year on the a la carte newly named card.

My family & I have enjoyed the benefits we have received & I think it's well worth being a member & of course it entices us to use your hotels more because of it.

We travel a bit & dine out a lot so enjoy the complimentary night & the discounted meals somewhere in NZ each year from Paihia, Omapere, Whangarei, Rotorua, Taupo, Wellington, Queenstown etc.

It's great having the upgrade certificates to use & the other vouchers available as well.

Even if not staying at the hotels we enjoy the discounts at the different hotel restaurants when dining out & also enjoy the complimentary wine voucher.

In short I think it's a great system & value for money especially for people like us who like to travel & dine out.

Very impressed with the upgrade at Oriental Bay - it was the Kingsgate when I stayed Feb 07 and work was underway. As a Copthorne it is a major improvement and as the Kingsgate it was more than OK.
